Passengers are going to get a taste of luxury at the Kansas City airport if they are willing to pay the price.
This winter, Escape Lounge, a pay-per-visit airport lounge accessible to all travelers, will make its debut in the terminal of Kansas City International Airport, according to concession manager Vantage Group.
They have not said how much it will cost to access the amenity, but other escape lounges in the United States cost $35 to $45 per person.
The new lounge will offer travelers relaxing and premium food and beverage favorites. According to a news release, the lounge is designed to evoke a unique sense of place through design elements inspired by the City of Fountains.
A specially crafted menu with regional flavors and recipes, created by the Escape culinary team in partnership with local brands, suppliers, and partners, will be served to guests every day.
Local beverages available will include offerings from Martin City Brewing Company, Crane Brewing Company, and The Roasterie.
All MCI travelers can access the lounge, located in Concourse A near gate A5, regardless of airline, status, or credit card in hand.
“We are pleased to partner with the Escape Lounge team to enhance the guest experience for Kansas Citians and visitors to Kansas City International Airport’s new terminal,” Marsha Chesmore, Vantage Group’s General Manager at KCI, said.
“The lounge rounds out the range of amenities, shopping, and dining options available to passengers traveling through this award-winning airport terminal.”
Premium amenities available in the lounge include:
The lounge is set to open at some point this upcoming winter.
